Education:

Kavtsevich V. graduated from the Uman Agricultural Institute named after Maxim Gorky.

1995 – defended a dissertation for the degree of Candidate of Biological Sciences on the topic “Genetic control of quantitative traits in lupine yellow” (specialty “Genetics”).

2002 – was awarded the academic rank of Associate Professor.

Work and professional activity:

1978 – began her career at the experimental station of the Institute of Genetics and Cytology of the National Academy of Sciences.

1997 – Kavtsevich V. began her pedagogical activity at the Belarusian State Agrarian Technical University.

Since 2000 – working at the Belarusian State Pedagogical University named after Maxim Tank.

Since May 2014 – working as an Associate Professor at the Department of General Biology and Botany of the Belarusian State Pedagogical University named after Maxim Tank.

Scientific interests:

Anatomy, morphology, plant systematics, cytology, ornamental plant production, human life safety, modern pedagogical technologies, biological fundamentals of agriculture.

Has 130 printed scientific works, including 14 educational and methodological ones.
